As a forigner or a “falang” you are expected to pay a lot of money for your girlfriend or wife and in most cases, alsow for her thai family. Most ladis lies to get moor money. This is a sad fact everyone going to Thailand should know.

You can’t be too careful. I’ve used a variety of agencies some good, some not so with varying measures of success. Bottom line? Keep you’re eyes open and hand on your wallet. You simply can not have a solid relationship with the Internet. You have to meet a person for that chemistry. Often times, when you meet a girl in person, she’s NOTHING like her photos or letters.
